Bryant R. Riley is Founder, Chief Executive Officer of B. Riley Capital Management, LLC, an SEC Registered Investment Advisor; Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of publicly traded B. Riley Financial Inc.; and Co-CEO of B. Riley FBR, Inc. (B. Riley FBR), a leading full service investment bank. Mr. Riley founded B. Riley & Co., LLC in 1997. Previously, Mr. Riley held Board positions at Alliance Semiconductor Corporation, Aldila Inc., Cadiz Inc., Carreker Corporation, DDI Corp., Integrated Silicon Solution, Inc., Celeritek, Inc., Kitty Hawk Inc., Lightbridge Communications Corp., Mossimo Inc., National Holdings Corporation, SI Technologies, Inc., Silicon Storage Technologies, Strasbaugh, STR Holdings, Inc., Trans World Entertainment and Transmeta Corp.
Prior to founding B. Riley & Co., he held a variety of positions in the brokerage industry, primarily as an institutional salesman and trader. From October 1993 to January 1997 Mr. Riley was a co-head of Equity at Dabney-Resnick, Inc., a Los Angeles-based brokerage firm. From 1991 to 1993 he was a co-founder of Huberman-Riley, a Texas-based brokerage firm. Mr. Riley holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Lehigh University.
B. Riley Capital Management
Chuck Hastings is a Portfolio Manager at B. Riley Asset Management. Prior to joining B. Riley Asset Management, Mr. Hastings was head of trading for GPS Partners, LLC, a hedge fund, where he traded in equities, fixed income securities, options and commodities. He also previously worked at Morgan Stanley in New York as a fixed income trader. Mr. Hastings earned a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University.

Bill Charters, CFA, joined B. Riley Capital Management, LLC as a Managing Director in December 2017. In 2010, he founded Sabal Capital, a low net special situation hedge fund. Prior, Mr. Charters served as an Analyst, Portfolio Manager, and Partner at Botti Brown Asset Management where he developed the firm's distressed debt investment practice and invested throughout the capital structure including single name shorts. Previously, Mr. Charters worked at Bank of America in their Special Assets Group working out troubled bank loans. Before his time at Bank of America, Mr. Charters worked at National City Bank in the middle market credit group. Mr. Charters received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Bowling Green State University in 1998.

Craig A. Ellis
Senior Managing Director, Director of Research
Craig A. Ellis joined B. Riley FBR. in December 2012. Previously he was at Caris & Company, most recently serving as Director of Research and Senior Semiconductor and Capital Equipment Analyst. As a Semiconductor Analyst, he has frequently achieved top sector rankings, most recently ranked #2 and #3 respectively in 2011 and 2010 for EPS Estimate Accuracy in the Semiconductor and Semiconductor Capital Equipment sector by StarMine. Mr. Ellis came to Caris & Company from Citi where he led the firm's Specialty Semiconductor franchise from 2004 to 2008. The team frequently attained top-5 rankings in Greenwich Associates' annual survey, placing 2nd and 3rd in 2008 in Analog and Communications IC's, respectively. Further, the franchise was a key part of Citi's third-ranked Institutional Investor Semiconductor team in 2007 and 2008 and Citi's top-ranked Institutional Investor Technology Team in 2008. Mr. Ellis graduated from Montana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in Finance and minor in Economics.
Senior Managing Director, Co-Head - The Discovery Group
Mike Crawford is a Senior Analyst at B. Riley FBR, Inc., initially joining the firm in March 1999, where he covered a wide range of special situations during a near six-year tenure. From January 2005 through March 2007, Mr. Crawford served as Research Director of Barrington Wilshire, Inc., providing services to its two managed hedge funds, Barrington Partners and Barrington Investors. From Barrington, Mr. Crawford moved to Riley Investment Management LLC in April 2007, serving as Research Director until December 2008, when he switched back over to the sell side at B. Riley FBR. From December 2008 to May 2010, Mr. Crawford was a Director of TranSwitch Corporation, a Nasdaq-listed communications IC supplier. Prior to business school, from 1990 to 1996 Mr. Crawford worked in a variety of positions at Sumitomo Bank of California, including public affairs, fixed income portfolio management, trading, and as Assistant Corporate Secretary. Mr. Crawford earned his Bachelor of Science from UC Berkeley and an MBA at USC’s Marshall School of Business.
Eric Wold, CFA
Senior Analyst - Media & Entertainment
Eric Wold is a Senior Equity Analyst covering the Media & Entertainment sectors since September 2011. Mr. Wold has been recognized several times by the Forbes/Starmine annual analyst survey, most recently ranking #2 for 2012 estimates accuracy in the Media sector as well as #4 for 2004 estimates accuracy within the Restaurant Industry sector. He has also been recognized by The Wall Street Journal’s "Best on the Street" survey -- receiving the #2 ranking in 2004 in the Restaurant category. Mr. Wold previously served as Director of Equity Research, Head of the Global Consumer & Media group at Merriman Capital. Prior to Merriman Capital, he was director of corporate finance with NightFire Software. He also served as vice president and senior research analyst at First Security Van Kasper, where he was responsible for the restaurant and branded consumer sectors. He holds a B.S. from the University of California at Berkeley and is a CFA charterholder.

Mr. Kang is a Research Analyst covering the Electronics Industry. He was most recently ranked #3 in Starmine’s Analyst Awards for Stock Picks in the Communication Equipment category. In Wall Street Journal’s 2011 Annual Best on the Street survey, Mr. Kang took the #2 spot in the Telecommunications Equipment category. In 2003, Zacks “Profit from the Pros” awarded him a five star rating in the Telecommunication & Network Equipment Industry. In 2000, he was named to the Wall Street Journal’s All-Star Team. Prior to joining B. Riley FBR, he was with Roth Capital Partners, ABN Amro and The Seidler Companies as an Optical Networking Equipment Analyst. In addition, he was with Rockwell International as a Systems Engineer. Mr. Kang received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from California Institute of Technology and received his Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Southern California. In addition, he received his MBA from California State University, Fullerton.

Ms. Anderson is a Senior Analyst with a micro, small-cap focus at B. Riley FBR. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, Ms. Anderson spent six years as an Equity Research Associate with BMO Capital Markets covering the entertainment and gaming sectors. Ms. Anderson earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. She is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Los Angeles.
Josh Nichols, CFA
Senior Analyst – Discovery Group
Mr. Nichols is a Senior Analyst in the Discovery Group. Mr. Nichols joined the firm’s equity research team in 2014. Prior to joining B. Riley FBR., Mr. Nichols spent two years at OneWest Bank as Vice President of Credit Analytics where his primary focus was revamping how the bank analyzed credit risk and reserved for losses in its commercial loan portfolio. Prior to OneWest Bank, Mr. Nichols spent five years at Ares Management, L.P., an investment firm with over $45 billion in assets under management spread across 85 unique investment funds. During his tenure at Ares, Mr. Nichols worked as a Corporate Financial Analyst where he coordinated with senior management on a variety of projects across the firm’s Capital Markets, Private Equity, Private Debt, and Real Estate verticals. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business from University of California, Santa Barbara.
Jeff Van Sinderen

Jeff Van Sinderen has been an equity analyst covering primarily specialty retail and wholesale companies at B. Riley FBR since 1997. Mr. Van Sinderen was recently ranked #2 Stock Picker by StarMine for 2012 in the Textiles Apparel & Luxury Goods sector. In Wall Street Journal’s 2012 Annual Best on the Street survey, Mr. Van Sinderen took the #3 spot in the Retailers: Broad Line & Apparel category. Prior to joining B. Riley FBR, he was an equity analyst at Dabney/Resnick/Imperial for approximately two years. Mr. Van Sinderen is a graduate of Pepperdine University where he studied business and organizational communication.
